Low-Fat Freezer Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 rounded tsp salt
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 c white vinegar
  • 12 c water
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 12 green or red pepper

Directions

  1. Sprinkle cabbage with salt let stand an hour
  2. Boil sugar vinegar and water for a minute let cool
  3. Mix ingredients Freeze if you dont wish to use until later
