Low-Fat Herbal Hash Brown Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 small 1 12 or 4 large potatoes sliced thin about 18-inch and about 34 inch
  • 5 garlic cloves more or less sliced as thin as possible
  • 12 medium onion sliced thinly
  • 8 sage leaves more or less cut in 18 inch to 116 inch strips or use dry sage or your favorite herb
  • 3 pinches turmeric root powder optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp oil olive sesame or almond

Directions

  1. Steam potatoes over steamer until sticky and not quite done still hard
  2. Include garlic onion and herbs in steamer
  3. Turn frequently
  4. For serving 4 you may want to steam a batch of potatoes set aside and steam the other half with herbs
