Low Cholesterol Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c all-purpose flour
  • 12 c sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 c wheat germ
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed about 1 c
  • 14 c oil
  • 4 egg whites
  • 14 c buttermilk or dry buttermilk

Directions

  1. Sift together flour sugar baking powder soda and salt
  2. Mix in wheat germ
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and beat until well blended
  4. Place in a greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan
  5. Bake at 350 for about one hour or until done
  6. Makes one loaf
