Low Sodium Pickles

Ingredients

  • 3 lb pickling cucumbers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 6 heads fresh dill
  • 3 c vinegar
  • 3 c water
  • 3 tsp salt substitute

Directions

  1. Wash cucumbers
  2. Pack into sterilized jars
  3. Place 12 clove garlic and 1 head dill in each jar
  4. Heat vinegar water and salt substitute in saucepan until boiling
  5. Cover cucumbers with hot liquid leaving 12 inch head space
  6. Adjust lids
  7. Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath
  8. Allow 5 days to ripen
