Lowell Inn Crescent Rolls

Ingredients
- 34 c warm water
- 2 pkg RapidRise active dry yeast
- 4 c Gold Medal flour
- 12 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 c soft shortening
Directions
- In a bowl dissolve yeast in water plus 1 teaspoon sugar Mix ingredients
- Add rest of flour until smooth
- Cover
- Let rise in a warm place until double 1 12 hours
- Divide
- Shape Let rise until double 1 hour
- Brush with butter
- Bake in oven at 400 for 12 to 15 minutes until rich golden brown
- Makes 32 rolls
