LulaS Fruit Cake

Ingredients

• 1 stick oleo or butter
• 1 c sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 c sifted flour
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 5 Tbsp whiskey
• 1 qt pecans or use 12 pecans and 12 black walnuts
• 1 lb candied cherries
• 1 lb candied pineapple
• 12 lb dates chopped

Directions

1. Mix all together and bake

4. pan for 4 hours at 250
5. Put a pan of
6. water over cake and one of water under cake
