Lumpia ShanghaiPhilippine Fried Egg Rolls Shanghai Style

Ingredients

  • 12 lb ground pork
  • 12 lb shrimp chopped fine
  • 12 c water chestnuts chopped
  • 12 c green onions chopped fine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 pkg egg roll wrappers
  • 12 c cooking oil

Directions

  1. Combine pork shrimp water chestnuts green onions egg and soy sauce season with salt and pepper
  2. Place a level tablespoonful of filling on each egg roll wrapper and seal with a few drops of water
  3. Deep fry in hot oil and drain on paper towel Serve with sweet-and-sour sauce Serves 4
