Luscious Butterscotch Yams

Ingredients

• 6 medium yams
• 12 c Karo corn syrup
• 12 c brown sugar
• 14 c heavy cream
• 2 Tbsp butter or oleo
• 12 tsp salt
• 12 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Cook
2. peel
3. and
4. quarter
5. yams
6. may substitute with 2 cans 17 ounces each
7. Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish Bake
8. in 325 oven for 15 minutes
9. In saucepan mix remaining ingredients May
10. use
11. dark or light brown sugar and pack 12 cup
12. Stir constantly
13. Bringto
14. boil
15. and
16. boil 5 minutes Pour over yams Bake basting often 15 minutes more
17. Serves 6
