Luscious Butterscotch Yams

Ingredients
- 6 medium yams
- 12 c Karo corn syrup
- 12 c brown sugar
- 14 c heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp butter or oleo
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- Cook
- peel
- and
- quarter
- yams
- may substitute with 2 cans 17 ounces each
- Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish Bake
- in 325 oven for 15 minutes
- In saucepan mix remaining ingredients May
- use
- dark or light brown sugar and pack 12 cup
- Stir constantly
- Bringto
- boil
- and
- boil 5 minutes Pour over yams Bake basting often 15 minutes more
- Serves 6
