Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients

• 12 c butter softened
• 12 c shortening
• 34 firmly packed brown sugar
• 12 c sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 12 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 c all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 6 oz pkg white chocolate chips
• 1 7 oz jar Macadamia nuts chopped

Directions

1. Beat butter and shortening at medium speed with electric mixer until soft and creamy gradually add sugars Beat well Add egg and vanilla Beat well Combine flour soda and salt gradually add to butter mixture beating well Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned Cool Yields 5 dozen
