Macadamia Yokan

Ingredients
- 2 sticks white kanten
- 1 12 c water
- 1 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 12 c koshian or 1 1 lb can tsubushian
- 1 c Macadamia nuts
Directions
- Tear kanten into
- pieces soak in water for 30 minutes Cook until dissolved
- Add
- sugar
- and
- salt stir until sugar dissolvesAdd
- koshian cook over medium flame until mixture comes to a boil
- Add
- nuts
- Pour into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan Cool
