Macaroni And CheeseServes 4 To 6
Ingredients
- 1 c dry macaroni
- 2 c water
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp butter melted
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 3 c grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 c milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a quart pan combine water and 12 teaspoon salt
- Cover and bring to a boil
- Add macaroni slowly so that water continues to boil
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 8 to 9 minutes
- Drain macaroni in colander
- Place macaroni in a 1-quart casserole dish
- Stir in butter egg salt dry mustard and 2 12 cups of the grated cheese
- Stir until evenly mixed
- Pour milk over macaroni mixture
- Top casserole with remaining 12 cup cheese
- Cover with foil
- Cook for 20 minutes
- Uncover casserole and cook another 10 to 12 minutes
