Make-Ahead Beef-Carrot Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 14 c minced onion
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 c cream-style cottage cheese
- 14 c chopped fresh parsley
- 1 c sliced cooked carrots
- 8 oz medium noodles cooked and drained
- 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Brown beef in melted butter in skillet
- When meat begins to turn color add onion and garlic
- Saute until meat is browned Stir in tomato sauce salt and pepper
- Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes
