Malaysian Beef

Ingredients
- 2 lb beef sirloin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 12 lemon rind grated
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp powdered ginger
- 2 Tbsp plum jam
- butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic crushed
Directions
- Cut meat into 12-inch strips
- Mix together ginger chili powder garlic and lemon rind
- Dip meat into mixture and brown in butter
- Combine sugar jam lemon juice salt and 1 12 cups water
- Add meat and simmer 30 minutes
- Serve with rice
