MamaS Best Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 c butter
• 1 large onion chopped
• 1 bottle ketchup
• 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 c brown or white sugar
• 1 Tbsp mustard
• dab of liquid smoke
• water to less thicken
• salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Saute butter and onion
2. Pour in ketchup liquid smoke and the rest of the ingredients
3. Cook on low for at least 30 minutes
4. To less thicken add a little water
5. Use just a dab of liquid smoke or you will ruin it
6. Youll never buy bottled again
