MamaS Fruit Cake

Ingredients
- 2 c self-rising flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 lb chopped pineapple
- 1 lb chopped cherries
- 1 lb dates optional
- 8 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Add flour to fruit and nuts making sure all is well coated Beat eggs until light and fluffy
- Gradually beat in sugar
- Add melted butter
- Mix in with hands the fruit and nut mixture
- Line tube pan with greased brown paper
- Bake in 275 oven for approximately 2 to 2 12 hours
