MamaS Pecan Pie Cake Bars
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 12 c melted margarine
- 4 eggs
- 12 c dark brown sugar packed
- 1 12 c white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 to 2 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Mix margarine cake mix and 1 egg together
- Reserve 23 cup of this mixture for topping and pat remainder in 9 x 13-inch pan Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
- Mix brown sugar Karo syrup and eggs vanilla reserved 23 cup of cake mixture and chopped nuts Pour over partially baked cake
- Return to oven at 375
- Bake until cake tests done
- Cool
- Cut into small squares
