Maple Pecan Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c yellow corn meal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soda
- 3 Tbsp margarine
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 13 c pure maple syrup
- 34 c buttermilk
- 12 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Combine flour corn meal baking powder soda and salt
- Set aside
- In a mixing bowl combine margarine sugar and eggs mix well
- Add syrup and buttermilk
- Stir in dry ingredients just until moistened
- Stir in pecans
- Pour into a greased 8 12 x 4 12 x 2 12-inch loaf pan
- Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until bread tests done
- Cool for 10 minutes in pan
