Ingredients

  • 14 c coarsely ground nut meats
  • 18 saltines
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  3. Beat in sugar thoroughly one tablespoon at a

  6. vanilla
  7. Mixture
  8. will be thick and glossy
  9. Fold
  10. in
  11. nuts
  12. Drop a heaping teaspoonful of the meringue in a mound
  13. in the center of each cracker
  14. Do not spread
  15. Bake on
  16. ungreased
  17. cookie
  18. sheetin slow 325 oven 15 minutes or until
  19. lightly
  20. browned
  21. Allow to cool and recrisp before serving
