Marinated Vegetable Salad

Ingredients
- 1 can English peas drained
- 1 can white Shoe Peg corn drained
- 1 can French-style green beans drained
- 1 jar diced pimento drained
- 12 c diced celery
- 12 c chopped green pepper
- 12 c chopped green onion
- 1 c sugar
- 34 c vinegar
- 12 c vegetable oil
- 12 tsp salt and pepper
Directions
- Combine vegetables tossing lightly
- Combine last 4 ingredients in a saucepan bring to a boil stirring occasionally Pour over vegetables stirring gently to blend
- Cover and chill 24 hours
- Serve on lettuce leaf
- Serves 6 to 8
