Maritime Seafood Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 c onion chopped
  • 3 c celery chopped
  • 3 Tbsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 4 c milk
  • 34 c flour
  • 12 c butter
  • 1 lb cheese slices
  • 1 lb lobster
  • 12 lb crabmeat
  • 34 lb cooked shrimp
  • 1 lb cooked scallops quartered

Directions

  1. Saute onion and celery in 3 tablespoons butter
  2. In a large saucepan melt 12 cup of butter
  3. Blend in flour salt and pepper Gradually stir in milk
  4. Cook stirring constantly until thickened
  5. Remove from heat and add onion celery and cheese Stir until cheese is melted then add seafoods
  6. Pour into a large casserole or individual dishes
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for about 30 minutes or until browned and bubbly
  8. Serves 6 to 8
