Marshmallow Treats
Ingredients
- 14 c regular margarine or butter
- 6 to 10 oz marshmallows 40 count or 4 c miniature marshmallows
- 5 c Rice Krispies
Directions
- Melt margarine in 3-quart saucepan
- Add marshmallows and cook over very low heat stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is syrupy
- Remove from heat
- Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated
- Press warm mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan
- Cut into squares when cool
- Yield 24 squares when cool 2 x 2-inches
