Marshmallow Treats

Ingredients

• 14 c regular margarine or butter
• 6 to 10 oz marshmallows 40 count or 4 c miniature marshmallows
• 5 c Rice Krispies

Directions

1. Melt margarine in 3-quart saucepan
2. Add marshmallows and cook over very low heat stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is syrupy
3. Remove from heat
4. Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated
5. Press warm mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan
6. Cut into squares when cool
7. Yield 24 squares when cool 2 x 2-inches
