MarthaS Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c plain flour
  • 1 12 c Crisco
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavor
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 23 c sugar

Directions

  1. Cream Crisco and sugar until smooth
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition
  3. Combine salt and flour
  4. Add to mixture
  5. Beat well and stir in vanilla
  6. Cook in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 300 until brown
