Mary ES Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
- 1 12 c white sugar
- 12 c milk or light cream
- 2 Tbsp cocoa
- 1 Tbsp Karo syrup
- 18 tsp salt
- 1 rounded Tbsp butter
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Cook the first 5 ingredients to soft ball stage in skillet Remove from heat let cool slightly
- Beat in butter and vanilla Continue beating until fudge is quite cool and holds its shape Pour into buttered pan
- Let harden and then cut into squares
