Maryland Crab Soup

Ingredients
- 6 to 8 strips bacon
- 1 lb beef shin bone
- 3 qt water
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 large stalks celery chopped
- 1 l lb can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 18 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 pkg frozen mixed soup vegetables with okra
- 1 lb crab meat or 6 to 8 cooked and steamed crabs pick center part and throw in claws
Directions
- Brown beef in soup pot with bacon strips
- Add other ingredients except frozen vegetables and crab meat
- Cook 3 hours or until meat is tender
- Add rest of ingredients and simmer covered until vegetables are done
- If you want it hotter add a few dashes of Tabasco sauce or have it available on serving
