MaS Sweet Pickles

Ingredients

• 4 to 6 qt cucumbers cut in strips
• 13 c canning salt
• 3 c vinegar
• 5 c sugar
• 12 tsp mustard seed
• 12 tsp celery seed
• 12 tsp turmeric

Directions

1. After cucumbers are cut into strips let them set in water with the 13 cup canning salt
2. Let set about 3 12 hours
3. Drain Mix the last 5 ingredients over medium heat until very hot but not boiling
4. Put the cucumber strips in the hot solution until they begin to change color
5. Then pack into jars with hot solution covering and put hot lids on
6. and let seal
