Matrimonial Squares

Ingredients

• 1 14 c flour
• 1 12 c oats
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 c butter or margarine
• 12 lb dates cut up
• 12 c sugar
• 23 c water

Directions

1. Measure dry ingredients into large bowl and cut butter into it until crumbly
2. Press half of crumbs into greased 9 x 9-inch pan Make this a large half
