MazellS Caramel Icing

Ingredients
- 1 c milk
- 3 c granulated sugar
- 1 stick butter or margarine
Directions
- Add 1 cup milk and 2 34 cups sugar in a large boiler
- Bring this to a rolling boil
- In a small skillet caramelize 14 cup sugar
- Pour into milk and sugar mix
- Boil stirring constantly until thick
- Pour into mixing bowl with margarine
- Beat well If too thick to spread easily add milk 1 teaspoon at a time until right consistency
- Spread evenly over cake layers
