Meat And Vegetable Stew
Ingredients
- 12 lb cubed pork
- 12 c cubed beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 rib celery
- 3 toes garlic chopped
- 12 bell pepper chopped
- 1 c diced carrots
- 2 c water
- 1 medium to large potato peeled and diced
- 12 c flour
- salt to taste
- black pepper or red pepper to taste
- 14 c oil
Directions
- In a nonstick pot put enough oil to coat bottom of pot Dredge meat in flour with salt and pepper
- Heat oil and add meat Cook until brown Add any leftover flour to pot
- Stir in onion celery bell pepper and garlic Cover and lower heat to simmer Cook 12 hour Add water carrots potatoes salt and pepper Cook slowly 1 hour
- Adjust seasoning Serve over cooked rice
