Meat Corn Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion about 13 c
  • 1 can tomato paste 6 oz
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 14 tsp garlic powder
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 16 or 17 oz can whole kernel corn
  • 12 4 oz pkg noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 c shredded sharp cheese

Directions

  1. Cook meat and onion until browned in large frying pan breaking meat with fork
  2. Blend in tomato paste salt chili powder and garlic powder and pepper add corn including liquid and cook until mixture is thick stirring occasionally
  3. Arrange half the meat mixture over noodles
  4. Repeat layers
  5. Sprinkle cheese over top
  6. Bake in moderate oven at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling
  7. Makes 6 to 8 servings
