Meat Crust Country Pie

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat
- 14 c grated onion
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 13 c Minute rice
- 12 c crushed crackers
- 14 c chopped green pepper
- 1 c water
- 34 c grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 to 6 tomato slices optional
- seasoning to taste
- 18 tsp oregano and ground pepper
Directions
- Combine beef crackers onion green pepper 1 12 teaspoons salt seasoning to taste and 12 cup of tomato sauce
- Mix well Pat into bottom and up sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate
