Meat Dressing

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground meat 1 lb may be sausage if preferred
  • 2 small bags pepperidge farm stuffing
  • 3 c boiling water
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 c chopped celery
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 14 c buttermargarine
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • saltpepper to taste
  • 3 eggs beaten

Directions

  1. Dissolve bouillon cubes in the boiling water pour over stuffing crumbs and stir well Saute celery onion in butter until tender
  2. Add to crumb mixture
  3. Brown meatpork and drain well
  4. Stir meat and the rest of the remaining ingredients into the crumb mixture
  5. If it seems too dry add a little more chicken broth to moisten it
  6. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13x9x12 baking dish
  7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until brown
  8. Serve with traditional Turkey dinner
