Meatballs And Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 14 c coarse bread crumbs
- 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 c catsup
- 1 c water
- 12 c gingersnap crumbs
- 14 c brown sugar firmly packed
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 8 oz can sauerkraut
Directions
- Mix together meat egg bread crumbs salt and pepper
- Shape into 1-inch balls
- Simmer catsup water and cookie crumbs for 5 minutes
- Add brown sugar salt and sauerkraut
- Heat to boiling Add meatballs lower heat and simmer for 45 minutes
- Serves 4 to 6
