Melba Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz pkg frozen red raspberries
  • 14 c sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 12 c currant jelly

Directions

  1. Put frozen raspberries into a quart glass measuring pitcher Heat uncovered in microwave oven 1 minute on High
  2. Stir to break berries apart Cook uncovered 30 seconds on High or until berries are defrosted
  3. Stir a mixture of sugar and cornstarch into raspberries then stir in currant jelly Cook in microwave oven 6 minutes on High until sauce thickens
