Melt Away Bars

Ingredients
- 1 c. soft oleo
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- colored sugar
Directions
- In large bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, flour and 1/2 cup nuts.
- Blend well.
- Spread in ungreased jelly roll pan 15 x 10-inch.
- Beat egg whites until frothy.
- Spread over mix. Sprinkle with colored sugar and 1/2 cup nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and cut into squares or bars.
