Meltaway Chocolate BrowniesMakes 16 Brownies

Ingredients
- 12 c sugar
- 14 c undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 1 pkg eight 1 oz blocks Hersheys semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 34 c unsifted flour
- 14 tsp baking soda
- 14 tsp salt
- 34 c finely chopped nuts optional
Directions
- Combine sugar evaporated milk and butter in saucepan
- Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until mixture reaches a full boil
- Remove from heat add semi-sweet chocolate broken into pieces stirring until melted
- Beat in eggs and vanilla
- Add flour baking soda and salt mix until smooth
- Blend in nuts Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan
- Bake at 325 for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from sides of pan Cool frost if desired
- Cut into squares
