Melting Moments

Ingredients

• 12 c 1 stick butter
• 6 Tbsp sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 c flour
• 2 Tbsp cornstarch
• 14 tsp salt
• 34 tsp baking powder
• rolled oats

Directions

1. In bowl cream butter and sugar
2. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla
3. Sift together flour cornstarch salt and baking powder stir in butter-sugar mixture
4. Shape into marble-size balls and turn in rolled oats to coat
5. Arrange cookies on greased jelly roll pan and bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
6. Makes about 3 12 dozen cookies
