Add cream of tartar and beat at high speed until foamy Gradually beat in sugar a tablespoonful at a time
Turn off mixer occasionally and scrape sides of bowl
Continue beating at high speed until stiff and glossy about 6 or 7 minutes
For each snowman drop two rounded tablespoonfuls of meringue just touching each other on brown paper then add rounded teaspoonful of meringue at top for head
Place pretzel stick arms and cinnamon candy eyes mouth and buttons on each snowman
Bake at 275 for 45 minutes
Turn off heat and leave snowmen in oven for one hour
