Mexican-Style Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • non-caloric liquid sweetener equal to 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 12-inches cinnamon stick
  • 3 c skim milk
  • 14 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine cocoa non-caloric sweetener cinnamon stick and 23 cup water
  2. Bring to boil stirring constantly boil 1 minute longer
  3. Stir in skim milk
  4. Cook until heated through do not boil
  5. Add vanilla remove cinnamon stick
  6. Beat with rotary beater
  7. If desired garnish with additional cinnamon sticks Makes 4 servings
