Mexican Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 12 c sugar
  • 3 Tbsp instant coffee
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 tsp nutmeg
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 1 12 c water
  • 4 c milk
  • whipped cream

Directions

  1. In large saucepan heat all ingredients except milk and cream over low heat stirring until chocolate is melted
  2. Heat to boiling reduce heat and simmer 4 minutes stirring constantly Stir in milk heat over low heat stirring occasionally
  3. Beat with rotary beater until foamy
  4. Top serving with whipped cream Makes 8 23-cup servings
