Mexican Cornbread Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 13 c chopped onion
- 1 8 oz jar Cheez Whiz mild Mexican flavor
- 1 8 12 oz pkg Mexican cornbread mix
- 1 8 34 oz can whole kernel corn drained
- 1 Tbsp margarine melted
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 12 c grated cheese
- 2 tsp sugar
- 18 tsp black pepper
- 3 Tbsp chopped green pepper
- 3 Tbsp chopped red pepper
Directions
- Brown meat drain
- Add onion and cook until tender
- Stir in Cheez Whiz until melted
- Spoon into oblong casserole dish Prepare cornbread mix as directed
- Add remaining ingredients mixing just until moistened
- Spoon over meat and cheese mixture Bake at 375 for 16 to 18 minutes
