Mexican Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1 2 lb jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 1 12 oz pkg spaghetti
- 1 to 2 lb Velveeta Mexican shredded cheese
- 2 cans mild green chilies chopped
- 2 lb hamburger
- 1 onion chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions drain
- Fry hamburger and drain
- Mix together hamburger sauce chilies onion salt and pepper
- Simmer 15 minutes
- Combine spaghetti and sauce mix well
- Layer two 9 x 13-inch baking dishes with half the spaghetti top with half of the cheese and cover with remaining spaghetti and cheese
- Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes
- Half recipe fills one 9 x 13-inch pan
