Microwave Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless beef cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 c water divided
- 1 1 38 oz envelope onion soup mix
- 4 medium thinly sliced carrots
- 2 potatoes in 1 inch cubes
- 1 8 oz can peas drained
- 14 c flour
Directions
- In 4 quart casserole combine beef 12 cup water soup mix carrots potatoes
- and
- bay
- leafCover with glass lid Cook at High for 8minutes
- and
- at
- Low
- 1 to 1 14 hours or until beef and
- vegetables
- are
- tender
- Stir
- occasionally Stir in peas Blend
- flour
- and remaining water until smooth Stir into stew Cook at
- High 4 to 5 minutes or until stew is thickened stir once
- Yields 6 to 8 servings
