Microwave Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 23 c popcorn popped
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 12 c margarine
  • 14 c Karo light syrup
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp baking soda

Directions

  1. Place the popped corn in a large brown bag
  2. Place brown sugar margarine syrup and salt in a glass bowl 2-quart size Microwave on High for 2 minutes
  3. Stir
  4. Microwave until syrup boils for 2 minutes
  5. Add 12 teaspoon soda
  6. Stir
  7. Pour over popped corn stirring to coat evenly
  8. Close paper bag
  9. Microwave for 1 12 minutes on High
  10. Shake and repeat
