Microwave Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 14 lb ground beef
  • 2 cans chili beans with gravy
  • 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 4 to 6 oz red wine
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp sweet basil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 18 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 14 c Minute rice

Directions

  1. Place ground beef in plastic strainer over a two-quart glass measuring cup cover with paper napkin to prevent splashing and cook for 3 minutes on High
  2. Remove from microwave stir to mix Return to oven and cook on High for 3 minutes more
  3. Transfer to 3-quart glass container and add remaining ingredients stirring thoroughly to mix
  4. Place in oven and cook uncovered on High for 5 minutes
  5. Remove and stir return to oven and cook on Medium for 5 minutes
  6. Stir cook for 7 minutes
  7. Stir cook for 7 to 10 minutes more
  8. Stir and serve
