Microwave Peanut Patties

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 12 c water
• dash of salt
• 12 c light corn syrup
• 1 12 c raw peanuts
• 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
• 1 Tbsp vanilla flavoring
• 2 to 3 drops red food coloring may omit

Directions

1. Combine sugar water salt and syrup in a 2-quart glass measuring bowl
2. Bring to a boil in microwave approximately 5 minutes
3. Stir and add peanuts
4. Return to microwave and cook approximately
5. 7
6. to 8 minutes or to soft ball stage 234 is reached
7. Remove add butter vanilla and food coloring
