Microwave Taco Chops
Ingredients
- 1 12 Tbsp dry taco seasoning mix
- 12 c crushed cornflake crumbs
- 4 pork loin chops 1-inch thick
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 cube beef bouillon
- 12 c water
Directions
- Combine taco mix with cornflake crumbs
- Dip one side of each chop into egg and then into crumb mixture
- Reserve remaining egg and crumbs
- Place crumb side up into 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish or large pie plate placing meaty ends of chops toward outside of dish
- Microwave uncovered on High for 5 minutes turning dish 12 turn after 3 minutes
- Turn chops over top with remaining egg and crumbs
- Dissolve bouillon cube in water on High for 30 seconds Stir
- Pour around not over chops
- Cover with plastic wrap microwave for 6 minutes on High rotating dish once
- Let stand covered for 5 minutes
- Use pan drippings for gravy if desired Serves 4
- Simply delicious
