Mignonette Of Beef

Ingredients

  • 12 c salad oil
  • 14 c lemon juice
  • 12 c dry red wine
  • 12 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 14 tsp thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • 2 lb sirloin beef
  • vegetables of choice

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients well except beef and vegetables then add the beef cut into 1 12 to 2-inch cubes
  2. Refrigerate at least 5 hours or overnight
  3. Alternate meat and vegetables of your choice on skewer
  4. Broil about 20 minutes brushing with sauce occasionally
