Mile High Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• 3 egg whites
• 12 tsp cream of tartar
• 34 c sugar
• 10 oz pkg frozen strawberries
• 1 prepared pie crust
• whipped cream

Directions

1. Use a large mixing bowl
2. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
3. Add sugar and cream of tartar very slowly to stiffly beaten egg whites
4. Slowly add the nearly unfrozen berries and juice to the egg white peaks
5. Beat on high with mixer for 15 minutes
6. Put into pie shell of your choosing and freeze
7. Add sliced berries and whipped cream for garnish before serving
