Mixed Cut Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen cauliflower
- 1 15 oz can green beans
- 3 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 c milk
- 12 tsp onion salt
- 2 or 3 drops hot sauce
- 1 tsp pimento strips
Directions
- Cook cauliflower in salted water according to package
- Drain Arrange in a buttered 1-quart casserole
- Drain beans reserving 12 cup liquid
- Add drained beans to casserole
- Melt butter in small saucepan
- Stir in flour
- Add reserved 12 cup liquid milk onion salt and hot sauce
- Cook and stir over medium-low heat until sauce thickens
- Pour over vegetables in casserole Garnish with pimento
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes
