Mocha Brownies
Ingredients
- 5 sq 5 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 13 c butter or margarine
- 23 c flour
- 12 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 14 c sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 14 c graham cracker crumbs
- 1 c coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
- Coffee Glaze
Directions
- In a small heavy saucepan melt chocolate with butter or margarine over low heat cool
- Combine next 3 ingredients set aside
- Beat eggs and sugar at medium speed until light
- Beat in chocolate mixture and vanilla extract
- Stir in flour mixture cracker crumbs and nuts
- Pour into a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan Bake in a preheated 350 oven 40 to 45 minutes
- Glaze while hot When cold cut into squares using a sharp knife
- Makes 25 brownies
